When a motorbike accident occurs it is seen in the same light as any other kind of accident. The accident will of course be the fault a one of the involved parties. According to the law, drivers of motorbikes must have at the very minimum third party liability insurance coverage. This type of coverage means that damages and injuries that occur to other parties involved in the accident will be covered. If an accident should occur, certain steps should be followed.
Many of these steps involve some sort of documentation. First it is important to write down the number plate of any other vehicles involved in the accident. You should also a document the model, make, and color of each vehicle. Also take note of any damages that you can visibly see that have occurred to these vehicles.
Another important part of steps to follow would include getting the names of other drivers involved as well as any witnesses. You would simply need to document their names, addresses and phone numbers. When obtaining this information do not admit to any liability and do not accuse others of causing the accident. Keeping a level head is important.
Jotting down a sketch of what the accident scene looks like and where the vehicles ended up is another good idea. Also as soon as you are able to do so right down some basic details of what occurred with the accident. This will help later on when the accident isn’t so fresh on your mind. People that fail to do this often have difficulty remembering specific details that can help them with their situation. As soon as you can you need to notify your bike insurance company of the accident. Most insurers have phone lines that are open all day and every day. These companies are used to dealing with bike insurance and even classic motorbike insurance claims and will find the information you have recorded to be extremely useful in processing your claim.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Film Autumn/Winter 2012
The American photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager stages the Icons of Style key visual for Autumn/Winter 2012 in an imaginative and surreal film featuring Lara Stone and the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster in the leading roles.
What do the Wizard of Oz, Alfred Hitchcock, David Lynch and Frederico Fellini have in common? Not a great deal at first glance. For the photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager, however, they are all style icons and furnished her with inspiration for the shooting of the Mercedes-Benz Autumn/Winter 2012 key visual. Since film is her second love after photography, Alex Prager also created a wonderfully surreal movie featuring Lara Stone in the main role in parallel with the photo shoot which provides a narrative resolution to the captured moment of the key visual. Drawing inspiration from the Wizard of Oz, Alex Prager creates a world in the Los Angeles desert which blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy.
In Alex Prager’s fashion film Lara Stone is a modern-day version of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, who is spirited away into another world by a tornado. In this instance Alex Prager leaves it up to the imagination of the viewer to decide which one. Is it just a coincidence that the supermodel has stopped here and is taking her cases from the boot of the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster? Or is she tempting fate and simply waiting with her cases packed to fly off into another world? This is also for the viewer to decide.
The photographer and filmmaker was fascinated by the idea of having Lara Stone disappear into the sky in the tornado because this plays a key role in her art as a style element. And it was a stroke of luck that the rainy and windy weather on the day of the shoot provided naturally stormy conditions, rounded off by an optimistic rainbow.

Mercedes-Benz.tv: B-Class TV commercial ‘Circle of life’
Some things never seem to change. Which is why sometimes a life story can repeat almost entirely unnoticed. The B-Class, as a compact sports tourer, is the ideal companion for all of the diverse situations that life has to offer.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class is certainly the best C-Class that Mercedes has made; in fact it eclipses the previous models in terms of looks, quality and performance. Whether you choose the saloon or the estate version, you will find that this is one of the best cars of its class you will encounter on the road.
With a car like this comfort is an important factor; you will find that you are more comfortable in this car than you would be on your living room sofa. Road imperfections are just about imperceptible and the climate control system and sound insulation means that even long motorway journeys are a joy from which you will emerge as refreshed as when you set out.
The performance is just about anything you might wish it to be, You can opt for one of the more modest and economical diesel or petrol engines that provide perfectly adequate performance for most purposes or if you are so inclined you can go for the larger 3.0 litre V6 diesel or the 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine both of which churn out around 230 bhp. If you are completely crazy you could opt for the C63 AMG version which is powered by a totally insane 6.3 litre V8 petrol engine which delivers a heart stopping 457 bhp.
Apart from the early A-Class, there has never been a Mercedes that has had poor handling, but the handling of the C-Class is exceptional even by the very high Mercedes standards. The car does all that is asked of it in the toughest of conditions; it is very versatile.
The car is a very practical solution as either a family saloon or a compact executive car. There is ample storage (475 litres) in the boot of the saloon but if you need a cavernous load space then the estate version can provide 1,500 litres. The car is also very safe, well specified with excellent levels of equipment. If you are in the market for a cheap Mercedes-Benz C-Class, you can find this and many other used cars for sale online at very reasonable prices.
Lamborghini Aventador vs 911 GT2 RS vs Mercedes SLS
If the Lamborghini Aventador can live up to its performance claims, the 691bhp four-wheel drive supercar should easily beat the much cheaper Porsche 911 GT2 RS and Mercedes SLS. Clearly, the only way to find out is a drag race.
Mercedes-Benz SL 2013 brochure leaks ahead of Detroit reveal
It’s getting darn near impossible for automakers to keep their latest wares hidden from view until they are good and ready to show them. Such is the case with Mercedes-Benz, who’s latest SL has leaked to the internet courtesy of the crew at Autoblog.nl.
If we had to guess, we’d say these images come from a brochure of some sort, and they show the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL from the front and rear, along with the top up and down. We also get a lone shot of the interior, and though it’s all in various shades of black and white, everything looks just as polished and stately as we’d expect from M-B’s range-topping non-AMG machine.
We know that the 2013 SL will be a few hundred pounds lighter than its predecessor, but we don’t yet know what range of engines will be in the “S-Class of Roadsters.” We’d guess a few V8 options with the vestigial V12 hanging around for at least one more generation.
We’ll just have to wait until the 2012 Detroit Auto Show
Mercedes’ Maybach-replacing 600 Pullman details?

It’s open season on rumors concerning the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman. With Maybach deader than disco, the German automaker is undoubtedly searching for a suitable ultra-luxury competitor to the likes of Bentley and Rolls-Royce, and we’ve already head that may translate into the resurrection of the legendary Pullman name.
Autobild reports the vehicle will span a little over 21 feet in length and get its power from a smooth 650-horspower V12 engine. The publication isn’t calling out any sources at the moment, but the article claims there will be a total of six versions of the Pullman when the model debuts and that each of them will ride on the Mercedes-Benz rear-wheel architecture.
Buyers who don’t need enough power to pull down a house will be able to purchase a four-cylinder turbo-diesel variant with a more modest 204 horsepower, and Autobild reports Mercedes-Benz is currently working on two hybrid variants, as well. Of course, with no sources names in the article and the Pullman so far from production, we’d advise taking everything here with a land-yacht sized grain of salt.
